John currently works with mission trips to repair children with facial deformities. He was a medical officer in the US Navy and in private practice for over 25 years. He brought his love of art and science to the distillery business as an owner of a craft distillery and to the wonderful creative process in developing a unique whiskey experience. His love of America, art and interesting whiskey culminated in this vision, this sophisticated American icon that promotes all the positive virtues in a great society. Only the best bourbon was chosen to fill the sculptured bottle and the result was an award-winning straight bourbon and one-of-a-kind bottle design. He hopes to promote love, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with this endeavor.

Paul loves whiskey, and it shows. His meticulous handling of the premium bourbon has resulted in the best American straight bourbon worthy of the cause. He is well versed in the spirits industry as an expert in bottle production, package design, brand promotion and all the necessary specialties required to develop a quality brand. His bourbon is kept in smaller barrels and religiously rotated and aged in a high, dry, alpine ecosphere resulting in the most hardy and deep flavored whiskey. The use of five different char barrels expresses as a solid, complex straight bourbon with an elegant dark color and strong backbone. The end product is a simple, yet complex, award-winning bourbon.
Paul combines function and esthetics in his many design projects spanning a long career. His field of research, examining and detailing many custom whiskey bottles (and tasting the whiskey as a matter of completeness) shows in his attention to detail in the final product. His design is a culmination of the vast diversity and features of American women and an appreciation for the classic Greek and Roman masters. His precise computer generated techniques provided the necessary quality to result in the US patented American Woman Whiskey bottle that is both esthetic and functional. He lives in Ventura, CA.
